Students at the University of Turin expressed their happiness at the University of Badr to study Arabic language and literature in a course specially held for them, and lasted for two weeks.
Ten students of the University of Turin had joined the Arabic language course for non-native speakers, according to a memorandum of cooperation signed between the Universities of Badr and the University of Turin. They were accompanied by Professor Mauro Tosca, Professor of Semitic Languages and Prof. Najla Wali, Professor of Translation at the University of Turin, Italy.
During their visit, the Italian students were briefed on the various facilities of the university and expressed their admiration for the level of equipment and the architectural style of it. They also praised the scientific material they received.
At the end of the course, Professor Mustafa Mohamed Kamal handed them the certificates of enrollment.
Professor Mauro Tusca met with Dr. Hassan Al-Qala, Chairman of the Board of Trustees in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Suleiman, Secretary-General of the University, where they discussed the possibilities of scientific and cultural cooperation between the two universities, thus providing a positive return at the level of Egyptian-Italian relations.
